VietNam and Japan Improve Trade Connection

A conference on trade connections between Vietnamese and Japanese businesses took place in Tokyo on Wednesday. The conference is part of a series of activities held to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan.

It was attended by more than 100 businesses from both countries. Vietnamese businesses have brought many sample products to the conference, such as garments, foods, fruits, consumer goods, and handicrafts, for Japanese businesses to experience and to seek opportunities for business cooperation.

Vietnamese businesses are interested in environmentally friendly products, such as rice straws made of 100% raw and organic materials and naturally sourced, ready-to-drink coffee with recyclable containers. The products introduced are expected to create a platform for Vietnamese products to penetrate the Japanese market.
