Viet Nam-Russia elevate bilateral cooperation

Viet Nam Prime Minister Le Minh Hung met with Russian President Vladimir Putin during the ASEAN-Russia Commemorative Summit, marking 35 years of relations and bilateral events in Russia. The two leaders agreed to strengthen regular, substantive dialogue across all levels and maintain high-level exchanges. 

They committed to accelerating negotiations for the Ninh Thuan 1 nuclear power plant, highlighting energy, oil, gas, and nuclear power as key pillars of bilateral cooperation.
