Viet Nam elects new top leaders

The National Assembly passed resolutions to elect the Vice President of the National Assembly for the 2021-2026 term and to approve the Prime Minister’s proposal for the appointment of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Security for the same term.

After reviewing the two draft resolutions, which included the election of Ms. Nguyễn Thị Thanh as Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly, and the appointments of Lê Thành Long as Deputy Prime Minister and Lương Tam Quang as Minister of Public Security, the National Assembly voted to pass them.
