Viet Nam becomes Cambodia’s major trading partner

According to the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce, Viet Nam is a trading partner for Cambodia, despite ranking third after Cambodia's two largest exporting country, the US and the EU. Cambodia hopes that Vietnam's economy will grow stronger so that Viet Nam can buy more goods, especially Cambodian agricultural products.

Trade turnover between the two countries reached a record level of nearly 11 billion USD in 2022 and a total trade reached 5.3 billion USD in the first 7 months of 2023. Cambodians are becoming more and more familiar with Vietnamese goods. Viet Nam will be a large export market for Cambodia, bringing value and efficiency, especially in agricultural products.
