S.Korea says in talks with US on possible relocation of weapons

South Korea's Foreign Minister said on Friday that they were in talks with US on possibly relocating weapons, as the conflicts in Iran intensified.

The Minister added that both countries were being closely coordinated in operations and relocations including Patriot air defense systems which provide crucial low-to-medium altitude defense against ballistic missiles. But He declined to go into further detail, saying that US had not sought Seoul's support for its military action against Iran. As a US ally, South Korea hosts around 28,500 American troops and air defense assets.
