Victoria records 2nd day in row of increased cases

Australia's hot spot state of Victoria on Thursday recorded its second consecutive day of increased coronavirus cases. The state's Premier Daniel Andrews said there had been 113 new infections and 15 deaths due to COVID-19 reported since Wednesday's update. There were 90 new infections and six deaths recorded on Wednesday.

The state reported only 70 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, the lowest tally since June.
