Venezuela signs agreement with French oil company TotalEnergies

Venezuela Interim President Delcy Rodríguez signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with French energy major Total Energies at the Miraflores Palace on Saturday in Caracas. The MoU specifically targets the Ayacucho 2 Block located in the Orinoco Oil Belt. The collaboration centers on providing new technical expertise and financial capabilities to boost hydrocarbon production and infrastructure development in this extra-heavy crude block.
