Vaccines Production Issue: ‘Ready to Fill Bulk’ for COVID-19 Vaccines

A coordination meeting was held on Tuesday at the Ministry of Industry for COVID-19 vaccines production. In his speech, Union Minister Dr. Charlie Than highlighted the plan ‘Ready to Fill Bulk’ (RTF Bulk) by purchasing the Sinopharm vaccines from China in line with the Good Manufacturing Practice and importance of research and cooperation.

Also, Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win explained the COVID-19 vaccination programme in the country and storage and transportation system for COVID-19 vaccines production.  The meeting also discussed matters pertaining to forming committees, COVID-19 vaccines project with the loan from India, research and the ‘Ready to Fill Bulk’ (RTF Bulk) system.
