US Secretary of State Blinken lands in Bahrain

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken was received by his Bahraini counterpart Abdullatif Al Zayani upon his arrival in Manama of Bahrain for a stop on his way to Seoul.
Blinken met with Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa to discuss efforts to achieve a ceasefire of at least six weeks in Gaza as part of an agreement to secure the release of hostages, as well as recurring attacks on commercial shipping by Huthis in the Red Sea.
