The number of COVID-19 cases in the United States topped 2.13 million on Tuesday, according to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University. Meanwhile, the national death toll of COVID-19 rose to 116,854, according to the CSSE. The research on COVID-19 treatment and prevention is underway.

According to the study published on Tuesday in the journal Science, U.S. researchers evaluated several human antibodies to determine the most potent combination to be mixed in a cocktail and used as a promising anti-viral therapy to treat COVID-19.
