Ukraine websites down after hacking attack

A number of government websites were down in Ukraine on Friday after a huge hacking attack. About 70 websites,  including the websites of the country's Cabinet, seven ministries, the Treasury, the National Emergency Service and the state services website have been targeted by the attack.

Moscow has previously denied involvement in cyberattacks against Ukraine. Tensions between Ukraine and Russia have been running high in recent months after Moscow amassed an estimated 100,000 troops near Ukraine's border, stoking fears of an invasion.
