UK, US part of joint military drill in Finland

British Defence Secretary Ben Wallace observed a military exercise in western Finland involving troops from the United Kingdom, Latvia, the US and Estonia. Wallace reaffirmed his country’s strong support for Finland and Sweden potentially joining NATO. Finland and Sweden are expected to announce next week whether to seek membership of the 30-nation alliance.
