UK Prime Minister announces boost for UK aerospace industry

The UK Government has announced £975 million over the next five for the aerospace sector, which employs thousands of workers in North Wales.

The Government has extended the Aerospace Technology InstituteProgramme. They said this will speed up innovation and create job opportunities.Prime Minister Kier Starmer who will make his first visit to Wales since the Budget has also confirmed £49 million worth of aerospace projects in Wales. The Prime Minister said: “From modern aircraft engines to helicopters, the UK’s aerospace industry is truly world-class.
