UEC Notification: List of Tatmadaw Representatives to the Pyithu Hluttaw

The Union Election Commission (UEC) has announced the list of Tatmadaw representatives to the Pyithu Hluttaw, according to Notification No. 32/2026 on Saturday.

It stated that following the multi-party democracy general election held in phases starting on December 28, 2025, the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services submitted the list of Tatmadaw nominees for the Pyithu Hluttaw in accordance with the Pyithu Hluttaw Election Law. After scrutiny, the Union Election Commission has officially declared the nominated Tatmadaw personnel as Pyithu Hluttaw representatives in line with Section 31 of the Pyithu Hluttaw Election Law.
