UEC Announcement: List of constituencies where elections will not be held

The Union Election Commission (UEC) has announced that elections will not be held in certain constituencies during the upcoming 2025 General Elections, scheduled to begin on December 28, 2025.

According to Announcement No. 103/2025, the UEC stated that due to the lack of conditions necessary for free and fair elections, voting will not take place in 56 Pyithu Hluttaw constituencies, 9 Amyotha Hluttaw FPTP constituencies, and 56 Region or State Hluttaw FPTP constituencies. The detailed list of these affected constituencies will be published in daily newspapers and made available on the UEC’s official website: www.uec.gov.mm
