UAE celebrates 53rd National Day with grand events

The United Arab Emirates celebrated its 53rd National Day on Monday with grand festivities under the theme ‘Eid Al Etihad.’

The celebrations, which highlighted the UAE’s transformation from desert settlements to a global hub, took place primarily in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi. Across the seven emirates, government buildings, public squares, streets, and shopping centers are adorned with UAE flags and patriotic decorations, creating a vibrant atmosphere.

A week-long celebration in Abu Dhabi featured cultural events, concerts, and special access to major attractions. India’s Consul General, Satish Kumar Sivan, emphasized the long-standing ties between the UAE and India, recognizing the significant role of the Indian diaspora in the country’s growth.
