Turkiye's Erdogan arrives in Baghdad for first visit in years

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived Monday in neighbouring Iraq for his first state visit there in years.The Turkish leader is scheduled to hold meetings with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohamed Shia al-Sudani and President Abdel Latif Rashid in Baghdad before visiting officials in Arbil.

During the meeting, Erdogan will hold talks on oil, trade, regional security and water resources, and oversee the signing of several bilateral agreements.
