Turkiye heavy rains caused extensive damage

Heavy rains caused extensive damage, destroyed bridges and disrupted daily life in the Sakarya province, Turkiye.  Recent heavy rainfall severely impacted the Sakarya Province located in the Marmara region.

Water levels reached up to one and a half meters, forcing residents to use boats to reach their homes and tractors to meet their daily needs. Overflowing streams destroyed retaining walls around water channels and bridges, flooded houses, washed away livestock, and caused major damage to agricultural land in the Karasu district.
