Trump rejects Iran proposal, urges Ukraine deal

U.S. President Donald Trump said he rejected an Iranian proposal, describing a deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz as unacceptable. He said the United States has established a blockade around the strait while allowing other countries to use the waterway.

On Ukraine, Trump said he spoke with President Zelenskyy and called for Ukraine and Russia to reach a deal to end the conflict. Trump also said he expected the United States and Cuba to reach a deal, adding that he did not think military action would be necessary.
