US President-elect Donald Trump has made nominations for most of the key posts in his incoming administration. He has tapped loyalists in an apparent bid to push ahead with his campaign pledges.
Among the heads of 15 executive departments, Trump has already made nominations for 14. The president-elect has also tapped advocates of tough measures against illegal immigration for key posts, including his appointee South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem as Head of the Department of Homeland Security.
Trump described Noem as the first governor to send National Guard soldiers to help Texas fight a border crisis. Trump's choices include a number of people with no political experience. This time, Trump appears to be choosing strong supporters of his foreign, immigration and economic policies, to make sure he can implement them.
