Trudeau calls for 'doubling down' of ASEAN cooperation

At the annual ASEAN summit in Cambodia, Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told that his country was strengthening its engagement with the region in what he called a "generational shift".

Justin Trudeau said it was important to "double down" on cooperation between both parties in order to help overcome global challenges.Trudeau will join other world leaders in the annual East Asia Summit, a regional forum bringing together the heads of the ASEAN countries with key dialogue partners.
