Training for Economic Counsellors: Applied course on Trade and Investment conducted

The economic counsellors need to know generally the situation of global economy but also the economic situation of the nation where they are taking duties, it was said by Deputy Minister for Commerce U Nyunt Aung at the opening ceremony of the practical applied course on trade and investment in the Ministry on Wednesday.

At the event, the Deputy Minister said that they need to know widely the potential markets of the main export from the country, the facts on the export of new export items and import facts and it needs to connect the market for Myanmar’s exports.

In regard with investment, they have to vigilantly study relaxations on the procedures of tax and have to invite foreign investments. He called on them to be loyal on the state when they take responsibilities in the respective countries and to follow the civil service rules and regulations.
