









The training completion ceremony of the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (Part Two) Course No. 47, organized by the Myanmar Accountancy Council, was held in a hybrid system at the Union Auditor General’s Office, Nawarat Hall in Nay Pyi Taw on October 24.
At the ceremony, Union Auditor General and Chairperson of Myanmar Accountancy Council, Dr. Khin Naing Oo, stated that the Certified Public Accountant course is a postgraduate course that trains individuals to work as accounting professionals.
She also mentioned that the subjects taught in the course not only assist students in their personal development but are also practical knowledge that can be applied to national economic development. She encouraged the graduates to continuously study new developments and technologies in the accounting field and to become accountants who adhere to ethics and discipline in their professional practice.
Subsequently, U San Min Htaik , accountant-2, from Zabuthiri Township Administration Office of the Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee expressed the gratitude on behalf of the graduates. The qualification examination will be held simultaneously in Nay Pyi Taw and Yangon, with the advanced accountant and auditor training schools.
A total of 250 candidates will sit for the exam, including 44 in Nay Pyi Taw and 206 in Yangon, comprising students from private accountancy schools and those who study independently.
