





The training completion ceremony for the 10th Nursing and Midwifery Diploma training course of the 28th intake of the three-year Nursing and Midwifery Diploma Course at the Nursing and Midwifery Training School (Magway), under the Department of Human Resources for Health, Ministry of Health, was held on the afternoon of June 8 at the City Hall in Magway. Magway Region Chief Minister U Tin Ko Ko, attended the ceremony and delivered a congratulatory speech.
In his address, Chief Minister U Tin Ko Ko said that nurses and midwives play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of the public, which is essential for building a modern and developed nation. Therefore, the new generation of nurses and midwives should not only be professionally competent but also uphold ethical standards and provide polite and compassionate care to the people. He also encouraged them to continue advancing their education from diploma level to bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in nursing science, both domestically and abroad.
Afterward, the diploma awarding ceremony was held. The principal of the Nursing and Midwifery Training School (Magway) presented honorary awards to outstanding graduates, and Nursing and Midwifery Diplomas were conferred upon 60 trainees from the three-year diploma program. Graduation remarks were also delivered during the ceremony, it’s reported.
