Training Closing Ceremony: YGN Region CM attended the event

Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Htein attended and addressed the closing ceremony of the First Aid (Basic) Training courses No. (1-6/2025), on October 20. The courses were opened collaboratively by the Yangon Region Committee for Support of Sports and Youth Affairs and the Thaketa Township Red Cross Society, under the leadership of the Yangon Region Youth Affairs Committee, at the Youth Center in Thaketa Township. The Chief Minister presented awards for outstanding trainees, the best student award, and school awards.

Subsequently, Professor Dr. Myo Nyunt, President of the Myanmar Red Cross Society, delivered a honorary address. He also presented donations for the construction of the Thaketa Township Red Cross Society Branch office. Furthermore, he awarded Ma Yoon Nwe Aung, who won the second prize in the duo skills competition representing Yangon Region at the 2025 World First Aid Day commemorative competition (central-level). He also presented awards to the recipients of the outstanding trainee awards.

Following this, Red Cross members performed with the song "Red Cross for All." Responsible officials then presented outstanding trainee awards, instructor awards, and honorary certificates to donors.

Afterwards, Yangon Region Minister for Social Affairs U Htay Aung delivered an honorary address, and Daw Aye Htwe Moe, Township Head of the Thaketa Township Red Cross Nursing Unit, expressed words of thanks.

It is then reported that Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Htein presented honorary cash awards to the performance troupes and cordially greeted the attendees.
