Traffic Rules Awareness: Educative Seminar Held In Taunggyi

An educative seminar on traffic rules was held at No.1 Basic Education High School in Taunggyi, Shan State (South) for 2022-2023 academic year on 13th July. At the event, Shan State Chief Minister Dr KyawTun said that the seminar is aimed for the students to raise traffic rules awareness.
It is found that the cause of the common death of underage students in Myanmar is they don’t follow traffic rules and regulations. Although the Road Transport Administration Department conducts the traffic awareness campaigns, the minors are driving motor cycles and cars without following the traffic rules. The chief minister called for issuing the driving license to youths when they are at the age of 18. 
Officials of Shan State Road Transport Administration Department explained about traffic rules, types of driving licenses, demonstration of traffic signs and the problems caused by accidents.
