Tourism Sector: Malikha Sand Beach Resort Opened

The opening of Malikha Sand Beach Resort on NaungTarLaw နောင်တာလော Island of Waingmaw Township in Kachin State took place on Sunday.

In his remarks, Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan said that tourism activities based on the natural beauty of the water, land, and mountains in the state are being implemented. It is necessary for various associations and entrepreneurs to cooperate, to implement new tourism destinations and work together to ensure a clean, peaceful and long-term sustainable development, he added.

And, the Chief Minister and many other officials ceremonially opened the resort. After the opening ceremony, the Chief Minister inspected the resort which also houses traditional food stalls, sports activities and entertainment programmes. It’s reported that the Malikha Sand Beach Resort is open daily from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
