Tourism Industry: Union Minister Stressed The Need To Cooperation

The “Enchanting Myanmar Health and Safety Protocol” Website has been launched for enabling to apply, confirm and issue national level certificates for the Hotel and Tourism services as the healthy and safety service industries through online, said, the Union Minister for Hotel and Tourism Dr. Htay Aung at the coordination meeting for the development of tourism industry with the Regions and States branch in-charges held at the ministry, Nay Pyi Taw on 16th August.

The Union Minister added that as the website has been launched, the persons engaged in 7 tourism related services are needed to inform promptly to apply national level certificate and submit report on completion of task.

The Regions and States branch in-charges need to address the guidelines given by the chairman of central committee at the first meeting of national level central committee for the development of tourism industry, implement as quickly as possible and submit report on completion of the implementation.

Next, the branch in-charges from Nay Pyi Taw, regions and states reported the work implementations of the relevant sector. Then, the union minister gave a concluding speech including to formulate the new programs to attract the tourists, put endeavors to revive the traditional festivals and expose the distinguished festivals, promote local traditional foods with quality packaging by participating in the international trade fairs as Myanmar Food Show.

As the employees are experienced and skillful, the collaboration is needed for the systematic development of the tourism industry.
