Tourism Development: Union Minister Makes Inspection in Tanintharyi Region

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Maung Maung Ohn made inspection in Tanintharyi Region. The Union Minister visited Nyaung U Phee Island and inspected hotels and tourism operation. Attracting a large number of local and foreign visitors, Nyaung U Phee Island has 6 snorkeling sites and also trekking and hiking sites.

The Union Minister also visited Khet Yin Gwa Island and heard report on plans for hotel sector. Khet Yin Gwa Island has hiking sites and scuba diving sites – visitors also can do birdwatching at the Island. The Union Minister also inspected snorkeling sites near Lel Ywel Lay Lone Island. He continued his inspection trip to ThaHtay Island Hotel about 2 nautical miles southwest of Kawthaung, Bayintnaung Cape, Bayintnaung Hill and 555 Hill in Kawthaung.

The Union Minister also inspected Pu Lon Ton Ton Bridge and beach, Victoria Cliff Hotel and Organic Farm in the compound of the Hotel.
