Tourism Development: MOHT Union Minister tours in Pyin Oo Lwin

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Kyaw Soe Win visited Pyin Oo Lwin on Saturday to meet with hotel and tourism business owners and officials. He toured the local department office and instructed to carry out duties effectively.

At a meeting held at Shwe Nan Htike Hotel, the Union Minister discussed tourism development, challenges faced by local businesses, and ways to enhance the industry in Pyin Oo Lwin. He highlighted tourism's role in generating foreign income and its broad economic impact. He also encouraged collaboration to improve facilities and services.

In the afternoon, the Union Minister inspected state-leased hotels to assess maintenance and service standards, urging officials to improve lighting and cleanliness. Later, he visited the Chinese Temple, one of Pyin Oo Lwin’s tourist attractions, to observe current visitor conditions and service provisions.
