Tour in Tatkone: National registration card and voter list update

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing visited Tatkone Township on Friday to observe the ongoing household registration and citizenship scrutiny card issuance being conducted under Phase 3 of the Pan Khin Project through a One Stop Service system.

The Union Minister oversaw the process of applications and collecting biometric data for e-ID cards with unique ID numbers. He also inspected voter list verification efforts being carried out jointly by immigration and election officials.

At the township office, he reviewed record-keeping, document storage, and the security of office equipment.

The Union Minister stressed the importance of ensuring every eligible citizen receives proper ID cards, enabling them to vote in the upcoming general election. He urged staff to cooperate among the departments and maintain readiness. During the visit, rice bags were provided for the staff.
