Tour in Sagaing : MOFR Union Minister inspects repair works

Union Minister for Finance and Revenue Dr. Kan Zaw visited the earthquake-affected areas in the Sagaing Region on Saturday. Accompanied by Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw and senior officials, he inspected the damages to government buildings and the ongoing repairs.

He met with staff from various departments, including the Myanma Economic Bank, Internal Revenue Department, Myanma Insurance, and Myanma Agricultural Development Bank. The Union Minister commended the resilience of the staff, who continued their work despite the challenges posed by the earthquake.

He emphasized the importance of maintaining high-quality services to the public in financial and tax matters. He urged all departments to continue their efforts and complete repairs to the damaged buildings quickly and efficiently. The Union Minister also visited the Myanma Economic Bank and the Myanma Agricultural Development Bank, assessing the damage and overseeing the restoration process.
