Tour in Pyin Oo Lwin: Development in Pyin Oo Lwin inspected

Union Minister for Transport and Communications U Mya Tun Oo, accompanied by Pyin Oo Lwin District departmental officials and officials from Myanma Railway, made inspection in Pyin Oo Lwin Township on Thursday.

At the selected site to build 3 Star Railway Hotel and Shopping Center near Pyin Oo Lwin Railway Station, the Union Minister and party heard reports by the officials, instructed to construct the facility meeting set standard and toured around the site. They then inspected the new site for football ground located between Pyin Oo Lwin Railway and Locomotive Industry, and gave necessary instructions.

Then, the Union Minister and party proceeded to Yadanapon Teleport Public Company Ltd,. near Pyinsar Village, heard reports by the officials, gave necessary instructions and inspected the Yadanapon Cyber City buildings, Housing and roads. During the visit to Wards No.8 and No.10 in Padaythar Myo Thit , the Union Minister heard reports on road expansion, renovation and road paving processes by the related officials and inspected the roads.

The Union Minister and party also inspected fence building, polishing and installing iron sheets on the fence along the entrance of National Kandawgyi Garden. At the briefing hall, the Union Minister heard reports by the officials. It’s reported that 18th Flower Festival of National Kandawgyi Garden welcomed over 6,000 to 10,000 visitors from domestic and international from December 6th to 10th. It is expected to receive over 300,000 visitors till its closing on January 4th 2026. The famous singers will perform at the closing ceremony of the festival.
