Tour in Nyingchi : Myanmar delegation makes a study tour in China

Myanmar delegation led by Vice President Daw Nan Ni Ni Aye on Friday, toured in Nyingchi ညင်ချီ also known as Linzhi လင်ကျစ် prefecture in Xizang Autonomous region of People’s Republic of China.

At Southeast Tibet Museum, the Vice President and delegation observed the exhibitions which showcase ancient cultural heritage, traditional artifacts and costumes, and significant historical events. The museum collects, preserves, and showcases culture, ethnic traditions, ancient heritage, and natural ecosystems of the southeastern region of Tibet.

Upon arrival at Yani National Wetland Park, the Vice President and party oversaw on ongoing environmental conservation initiatives within the park, watershed management, biodiversity conservation, ecosystem restoration, and the development of nature-based tourism.

The delegation also toured to the nature trails, observation platforms, and scenic viewpoints of the Yarlung Tsangpo River and the surrounding natural landscape. Located along the banks of the Yarlung Tsangpo River, the park is recognized as a significant ecological conservation area, featuring high mountains, lush forests, wetlands, and rich biodiversity.

On July 15, Myanmar delegation visited the Dounan Flower Market in Kunming, Yunnan Province. Officials provided explanations on its development progress, flower production and distribution processes, flower auction systems, e-commerce operations, and the export process to international markets.

The Vice President and the delegation toured flower exhibition halls, the auction center, quality inspection facilities, packaging operations, and observed the modern technologies, digital management systems, and logistics processes.

Established on 18 August 1998, the Dounan Flower Market currently covers more than 6,000 acres of flower plantations. It is the largest flower trading market in Asia and the second-largest flower wholesale and retail market in the world. The market trades a wide variety of flowers on a daily basis, not only throughout China but also to Southeast Asia, South Asia, Europe, and other international markets.
