Tour in Minbu (Saku) : Agricultural development in Minbu Township

Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin met with local farmers in Kyauksan Village, Minbu (Saku) Township, to discuss ways to improve crop productivity and farming techniques.

The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of using quality seeds, effective farming methods, and utilizing land efficiently to grow multiple crops per year. He encouraged farmers to choose high-yield crops that are economically beneficial.

Officials later explained proper farming systems, water usage, soil conservation, and pest control techniques. The meeting also discussed solar-powered irrigation systems and affordable loans for deep-well projects to help areas facing water shortages. Farmers from nearby villages reported on the needs for better access to irrigation, road repairs, and expansion of electrification projects.

The Chief Minister pledged to make coordination with relevant departments. He also provided sports equipment to the village branch high school and set-top boxes to village administrators. They later made a tour of farmer technology display booth.
