Tour in Coco Kyun : Meeting with the Tatmadawmen and families

Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with military officers, Tatmadawmen and families of Coco Kyun Station on Saturday.

In his speech, the Senior General praised the infrastructure progress in Coco Kyun, and its strategic geographical location, calling to be alert with security measures. He also urged all to have defence outlook, and to make constant training for ensuring combat ready skills with bravery and fitness.

He stressed the need to carry out administrative duties systematically, abiding by the rules and regulations. He also emphasized the welfare of the families, through the implementation of agriculture and livestock works, sports activities, entertainment show and seasonal festivals.

He added that the election is set to be held soon, and called for cooperation of all family members for successful holding of the election. After the meeting, foodstuff and cash assistance were provided for the military officers, Tatmadawmen and families and the Maternal and Child Welfare Association.

The Senior General later inspected the livestock farm of the station and gave necessary instructions. They then took a tour along the circular road by a motorcade to view the infrastructure development in the township. The Senior General and party later visited the Agricultural Farm of the local Naval Base and viewed the thriving plantation of Cocoa trees.
