Tour in Aung Lan: Meeting with personnel & inspecting development works

Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with departmental personnel in Aung Lan District of Magway Region on Wednesday.

Officials reported on agriculture and livestock breeding works, sufficiency of rice in the region, greening activities, efforts for development of education and health sectors, and preparations for holding election. The Commission Chairman called for collaboration in an effort for prevailing peace and security in the region.

He also pledged to upgrade the hospital in Aung Lan, and urged officials to maintain the town hall systematically while implementing for cleaning and beautifying tasks. The Commission Chairman also discussed for agriculture sector, stressing to boost production and meet the targeted yield with the use of quality species and good agriculture practice.

He also emphasized to use solar powered energy to meet the electricity demand, contributing to the increased production of agriculture and livestock products. In Education, the Industrial, Agriculture and Livestock High Schools have been opened for turning out qualified human resources for needed for the sectors.

He also stressed the importance of better education system to support for regional peace and development. Highlighting the need to conservation of forests, the Commission Chairman urged all to grow trees in every household and along the road areas for greening environment.

He also reiterated the efforts for regional development, rule of law and administrative system to be in line with the democratic system under the supervision of district and township level personnel. He urged all to strive for development of the region by joining hands with local populace.

After the meeting, the Commission Chairman and praty visited Shwe Tint Wan Livestock Breeding Zone and viewed the poultry farm. They also inspected the upgrading of Higyway Terminal, and instructed for systematic operation and greening the environ.
