Tipitaka Selection Exam: SSMNC Chairman Encouraged Sangha Who Are Sitting For Exam

The State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee Chairman Abhidhaja Maha Rattha Guru Abhidhaja Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotika Bhamo Sayadaw Dr Bhaddanta Kumara Bhivamsa, and member Sayadawgyis together with the officials from the department of religious affairs inspected and encouraged the Sangha who are sitting for the 73rd Tipitakadhara Tipitakakovida selection examination (writing test) as second day in the Mahapathana cave, Thirimingalar Kabaaye hill, Yangon in the afternoon on Thursday.

Totaling 54 monks are sitting for the writing test on Thursday including 6 monks are sitting for writing test of Abhidhamma second part, 6 are of Abhidhamma first part, 42 are of Vinaya (second part). The 73rd Tipitakadhara Tipitakakovida Selection Examination is being held between 17th and 21st May at Maha Pasana Cave on Thiri Mingala Kaba Aye Hill and a total of 171 monks sit for the exam.
