Thai King presides over inauguration of parliament

King of Thailand Maha Vajiralongkorn presided over the opening of the Parliament on Monday.

During the opening ceremony, His Majesty the King advised members of the parliament to always be aware they were representatives of people throughout the country to pass laws for the government to use in National Administration.

At the event, acting Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha and his cabinet, as well as newly-elected Members of Parliament were present.
