Terrorist Attack : PDF attacks passenger vehicle, killing 1 and injuring 1

A passenger vehicle traveling from Monywa to Mandalay was attacked by PDF terrorists near Nat Yay Kan and Gway Pin Taw Villages in Chaung-U Township, Sagaing Region on Friday. Driver U Than Htay Lin was killed on the spot after being shot. One male passenger was injured and taken to Chaung-U People’s Hospital. The vehicle had 6 people on board. Authorities have pledged to increase security operations and take action against those responsible.
