


The field demonstration for producing plant nutrient solution with by-products and wastes of agricultural and livestock production and technical seminar was held at the Agricultural Institute in Pyinmana on Tuesday.
Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Tin Htut Oo, Deputy Minister Dr Aung Gyi and officals attended the event.
First, the Union Minister and party looks into using the plant nutrient solution dissolved with by-products and wastes of agricultural and livestock production in sunflower plantations and thriving crop plantations. Then, a seminar on making plant nutrient solution with agriculture and livestock by-products was held at the assembly hall.
At the discussion, the Union Minister said that it is necessary to integrate agricultural production in harmony with the environment in an effort to improve crop yields and productivity. For thriving the crop plants, effective reusing of natural fertilizers and plant tonics produced from rice husk, sesame stalks, egg shell and fish meat by-products supports food sufficiency and reduction of carbon emission The Union Minister exchanged views on technical experience with the experts in the department and the private sector and stressed the needs on raising awareness for farmers to use widely the method.
The private entrepreneur U Tin MaungThan shared his experience on making fish amino acid production and attendees asked further information. From there, the Union Minister and party attended opening ceremony of Inter-department Men’s SepakTakraw Tournament at the PaungLaung stadium in Pyinmana and enjoyed competing of the participating teams.
