Teacher Training: Pre-service Primary Teacher Training opened in Taunggyi

The opening ceremony of Pre-service Primary Teacher Training-PPTT (8/2022) was held at the Kanbawza Hall of Education Degree College (Taunggyi) under the department of teachers training of the ministry of education in the morning on September 9.

The ceremony was opened with the song of “Perpetual existence of the Union” sung by the students.

Next, the Shan State Chief Minister Dr. Kyaw Tun said that the trainees from Taunggyi, Kengtung and Lashio education degree colleges will attend the training. The trainees are urged to build up the capacity to turn out the future citizens to build the better country overcoming the challenges of 21st century.

Then, the principal of Taunggyi Education Degree College Daw Hnin Kyu Oo clarified regarding the training. Afterward, the Chief Minister Dr. Kyaw Tun provided one million Kyats for the Pre-service Primary Teacher Training-PPTT (8/2022) and the principal of Taunggyi Education Degree College Daw Hnin Kyu Oo accepted.

Then, the ceremony was concluded with the students’ national races chorus dance with the song of “Pleasant Country of Myanmar” and the chief minister, chief justice of state high court, state advocate general, secretary of state government and officials cordially greeted the trainees.

A total of 467 trainees including 30 men trainees and 437 women trainees will attend the training and the training will take place from September 1st to October 31st , it’s reported.
