Taxation & Skills: Tax Officers’ Completion Ceremony Of Skills Training

Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein addressed the township-level tax officers’ completion ceremony of skills training on Wednesday.

In his speech at the Internal Revenue Department in Nay Pyi Taw, the Union Minister urged the officers to combine what they have learned from the training with practical actions and serve the tax payers with true dedication and integrity without corruption.

He added that it is important to improve the performance of the employees in order to make the Internal Revenue Department a high-level department. And, the Union Minister presented 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes to outstanding trainees and also completion certificates.

The 4-week skills training attended by 35 tax officers covered courses including tax administration law, income tax act, commercial tax law, special commodity tax law, stamp duty law, administration related to tax collection,  accounting and tax audit, tax policy and research, taxation information collection and technology-based tax collection system.
