Tanzanian President was accorded a ceremonial welcome

Tanzania President Samia Suluhu would hold detailed bilateral dialogue with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday. The two sides are expected to ink several agreements covering different areas of cooperation. The Tanzanian President was accorded a ceremonial welcome at the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhawan.

The visiting dignitary would meet her Indian counterpart Droupadi Murmu later in evening. President Suluhu also paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi and laid a wreath at Delhi's Rajghat. The visit is expected to further invigorate and strengthen historic and friendly relations between India and Tanzania.
