In an effort to make "invisible work visible", Swedish engineering students have developed an app called “Accord” for families to organize and track housework. CEO of Accord said that the app was the sort of answer to achieving family harmony and tackling these problems that almost every family faces on a daily basis.

Markus Pahlman, Co-founder of Accord said "Today organizing the family is very complex. You have usually a lot of different tools like shared messages in groups, and different notes that you share in the family. But the app keeps track of everything and gives you a shared overview to see who is actually doing what -and when. So instead of nagging, you get to show appreciation and be on top of things."

The setup of the app is simple and users insert chores of their choice into the app. And, other family members can then follow their progress and send a "reminder" if a task is not done in time.
