Sustainable Tourism: Responsible Tourism With Digital Technology

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr Htay Aung attended a Seminar on ASEAN-Korea Culture and Tourism on Tuesday.

The Seminar was jointly organized by the ASEAN-Korea Center, ASEAN Secretariat, Korea Tourism Organization and Travie Magazine. The Seminar was held under the title of “Creating Sustainable and Responsible Tourism with Digital Technology”. Experts from the respective work fields discussed to overcome the challenges, caused by COVID-19 through digital transforming, and importance of sustainable tourism. The two-day seminar aims for drafting the framework plans for smart tourism for opening of tourism sector between ASEAN and Korea, and cooperation for digital tourism for sustainability.
