Support for Sports : Athletes undergoing training for international events

Myanmar athletes are undergoing intensive training to compete in the 20th Asian Games, the 34th Southeast Asian Games and other international sporting events. On Friday, Union Minister for Sports Affairs U Ye Myint Tun visited the training camps of the sepak takraw, petanque, boxing, taekwondo and chinlone teams and encouraged the athletes to strive for success while representing Myanmar.

The Union Minister also provided necessary training equipment and other support and urged the athletes to improve their strengths and weaknesses through continued training and strive to bring honour to the country.
