Supply Stations Established for Couriers in Shanghai

Recently, affected by the cold wave and recent COVID outbreak, the delivery capacity in Shanghai is facing a great pressure of personnel shortage.  Shopping platform Meituan has started to set up epidemic prevention and supply stations for riders throughout the city to distribute the couriers free epidemic prevention materials, living materials and cold prevention materials.

The first anti epidemic supply station for riders was established in the south square of Bailian Youyicheng Shopping Center, in Yangpu District on Thursday.Among these supplies, the most popular ones are anti epidemic supplies such as masks and antigens.

After the opening of the first supply station, Meituan will also set up anti epidemic supply stations facing the street in major business districts in the city, so that riders can easily get supplies during the meal delivery period.
