




A Myanmar high-level delegation led by President U Min Aung Hlaing departed Kuala Lumpur International Airport for Nay Pyi Taw by a special flight on Thursday, following the conclusion of his official visit to Malaysia. The visit was made at the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
The Myanmar delegation was seen off at the Airport by Malaysian Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani and officials as well as Myanmar Ambassador to Malaysia U Aung Kyaw Moe and his wife, Military Attaché Brig-Gen Nyi Nyi Oo and officials. During the visit, the President met with the Malaysian Prime Minister and took part in bilateral meeting, a press conference and a Myanmar–Malaysia cooperation dialogue.
The meetings provided an opportunity for open and cordial discussions on strengthening friendship and engagement between the two countries, increasing investment and economic cooperation, and expanding cooperation across various fields and sectors. The delegation arrived back in Nay Pyi Taw in the same evening, and they were welcomed at the airport by government personnel and officials from the Malaysian Embassy in Yangon.
