






The Leading Committee for Organizing the 27th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition held its work coordination meeting at the Ministry of Culture, Hotels and Tourism in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.
Patron of the Committee Vice President Daw Nan Ni Ni Aye attended the meeting and made a speech. The Vice President called for greater efforts to ensure the competition help younger generations preserve, value and take pride in Myanmar’s traditional cultural heritage.
She highlighted for systematically selecting contestants and organizing the competition, ensuring fair and transparent judging based on traditional standards and artistic ability, passing the knowledge and experience of veteran traditional artists to younger generations, using digital technology to document, preserve and promote traditional arts, and ensuring contestants’ well-being, safety and security.
She also urged officials to make timely preparations for schedules, accommodation, catering, transportation and information services, and called on all to work responsibly and closely together for the successful holding of the competition. The meeting discussed the work implementation and future plans by the respective sub-committees for successful organizing of the competition.
